Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2026

These Terms govern your use of StableUse. By creating an account, buying a membership, listing or buying through the marketplace, or using creator tools, you agree to these Terms.

Overview

StableUse provides software for communities to sell and manage memberships, gated benefits, events, shop items, loyalty, QR redemptions, and marketplace transfers. Creators operate their own communities and are responsible for the benefits, content, fulfilment, and offline experiences they offer.

Accounts

You must provide accurate account information, keep your login credentials secure, and use your account only for lawful purposes. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may require email verification, username setup, or additional checks before enabling sensitive features.

Communities and creators

Creators must accurately describe their communities, tiers, benefits, event terms, shop items, refund rules, and fulfilment expectations. StableUse may provide the technical platform, but creators remain responsible for their community operations and for complying with laws that apply to their offers.

Paid memberships

  • Paid memberships may renew automatically at the interval, currency, price, and tax treatment shown during checkout.
  • Payments are processed by an external payment provider. Failed or disputed payments may restrict, suspend, or end membership access.
  • You can cancel a paid membership from your wallet or membership settings. Unless stated otherwise, cancellation stops the next renewal and access continues until the paid period ends.
  • Benefits may be limited by tier, edition number, venue, stock, date, redemption window, creator rules, or member eligibility.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights. Refund requests are handled under applicable law, creator rules, payment processor and payment network rules, and the specific product, event, or membership context.

Marketplace

  • When marketplace features are enabled, eligible members may list supported memberships for transfer or resale.
  • A listing may expire, be cancelled, or be removed if the underlying membership becomes ineligible, past due, disputed, refunded, or otherwise unsafe to transfer.
  • A buyer pays the listed price and accepts any future renewal terms shown during checkout. Access transfers only after payment and settlement steps complete.
  • Marketplace proceeds may be split between platform fees, creator royalties, and seller proceeds. Amounts can be delayed or adjusted for refunds, chargebacks, failed transfers, or compliance checks.
  • If a marketplace purchase cannot be completed safely, StableUse may abort, compensate, refund, revoke access, or restore state as needed to protect buyers, sellers, creators, and the platform.

Events, shop items, and perks

  • Events, tickets, RSVPs, perks, loyalty rewards, stamp cards, and shop items are community-specific and may have eligibility, inventory, location, expiration, redemption, or fulfilment rules.
  • Physical items may require shipping, pickup, staff confirmation, or QR redemption. Digital items may be delivered through the platform or through creator-provided links.
  • Staff scans and member confirmations are used to verify redemptions, check-ins, stamp activity, and order fulfilment.
  • Refunds, cancellations, disputes, voids, or suspected abuse may revoke access, tickets, redemptions, points, stamps, or shop fulfilment.
  • Creators are responsible for accurately describing and fulfilling their offers, subject to applicable law.

Creator payouts and fees

  • Creators and sellers must provide accurate payout, identity, business, and tax information requested by StableUse or its payout providers.
  • StableUse may retain platform fees from subscriptions, commerce, marketplace settlements, or other paid features as configured or displayed.
  • Payouts depend on payout account status, card payment capability, payment network rules, refunds, disputes, reserves, and compliance checks.
  • Creators are responsible for their own taxes, accounting, consumer obligations, fulfilment, and community operations.
  • We may pause payments, listings, renewals, or transfers where needed for fraud prevention, disputes, compliance, safety, or platform integrity.

User content

You are responsible for content you post, upload, or submit, including forum posts, replies, images, community descriptions, shop listings, events, and support messages. You grant StableUse the permissions needed to host, display, process, moderate, and operate that content in connection with the service. Members may report content and block abusive users through the product.

Prohibited use

  • Do not use StableUse for illegal activity, fraud, money laundering, sanctions evasion, or misleading financial activity.
  • Do not create false listings, manipulate payments, abuse refunds, bypass QR tokens, or access another user account or community without permission.
  • StableUse has zero tolerance for harassment, threats, hate, sexual exploitation, spam, scams, illegal content, abusive conduct, intellectual property infringement, or harmful content.
  • Do not interfere with platform security, rate limits, infrastructure, payment flows, or creator payout processes.
  • Do not offer regulated, unsafe, unlawful, or high-risk goods or services without prior written approval where required.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts, memberships, listings, creator tools, payouts, or access where reasonably necessary for security, non-payment, fraud prevention, disputes, legal compliance, user safety, or violation of these Terms.

Third-party services

StableUse relies on external providers to operate parts of the service. Those providers may have their own terms, policies, technical requirements, and availability limits. StableUse is not responsible for provider outages or decisions outside our control, except where applicable law says otherwise.

Liability

StableUse is provided with reasonable care, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, creator fulfilment, marketplace liquidity, or availability of every feature. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, creator failures, user misconduct, or third-party service failures. Mandatory consumer rights are not excluded.

Changes

We may update these Terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, communicated in the product or by email. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
